Master bath and closet It's so nice to have a walk in closet. Unfortunately, the closet is bigger than the bathroom in the master.
Features The closet has a his and her side and is large enough for all my clothes, many of which will be coming to the garage sale when we have it. The bathroom has a nice fan/heater combination, but it pretty much needs some assistance. One of the first things that we did was remove the black sink and toilet...
Changes We will be moving the master to the center of the house and keeping all the water utilities in a central location with the new plan. If all my wishes come true... there will be a jetted soaking tub in the NW corner with a large window and private walled garden beyond. To its right will be the glass shower enclosure. Continuing clockwise is the entrance to the master via pocket door to save space.
The south facing wall will have 2 vessel sinks (white with large lips unless I make them myself) atop dark wood cabinetry furniture with tiled or glass top (not covering the tiled floor). The lines in this room will be sleeker and more modern but still have the Mediterranean flavor.
To the west will be the entrance to the toilet, separated from the other space because it is just better that way. Back in the corner again... the jetted soaking tub.
The closet will be just as big with a his and her side...
Color I want to have oil rubbed bronze as the fixtures in this room to keep from choosing a gold/silver finish. If I have to choose, I would go with a brushed chrome. The cabinetry will be in a dark wood with clean lines. The floor I would love to be a large stone with smaller pebble tiles and pebble tiles on the shower floor. The walls will be a light sea glass green to pick up on green accent tiles in crisp white subway tiles on the wall.
Lighting Decorative sconces above the vanity and understated pot lights.
Art On the west wall over the tub will be an arched niche. |
We installed a new sink and toilet. |
