Master Bedroom

It gets a little tricky with these rooms because we intend on relocating them. The existing master is in the northeast corner of the home.  It will be relocated to the north center with the entrance toward the courtyards north hallway.

Features

There is a walk in closet, master bath with shower and the north wall in the bedroom has a slider to the back yard.

Changes

Aside from changing the location, the room itself will remain a basic bedroom with an increase in size. We will keep an exterior doorway to the back yard.

Color

We had painted the bedroom in the other house a pumpkin spice orange, which we really liked.  We would like to put some of that color in the master. The floors in the bedrooms will differ from the rest of the house.  I would like a dark wood or bamboo flooring with an area rug.

Furnishings

The existing furniture will be placed in the new room.  It is a dark wood King set from Far Fetched Furniture.

Lighting

Most of the room will be lit with lamps and sconces on either side of the bed. If we can fit a seating area in, I would like it to have a decorative pendant.

Art

I have photos that I need to frame. Other than that I don't think that there will be much art in this room.
