After the third time this has been upgraded to being a tradition. Each year during mid July James and I have gone to the Sakuma Brothers Farm (I-5, Smokey point exit, west over freeway, half mile on left) to pick berries. They are so much better (and cheaper) than you could get anywhere in the city!  We picked Raspberries, Strawberries and Blueberries.  Usually we like to go for Tayberries, but sometimes they are not quite ripe yet when we go.

Pretty soon we hope to have our own garden that will have all we need.  We already have strawberries, and plan to transplant our blueberries soon.  We plan to plant fruit trees in the front yard... it's exciting!
