It all starts with a few nuts who drive beetles... I took a few days off work to drive down to Portland, bum around Portland, check out the Zoo and various Gardens and take Sprout on a tour of the Fruit Loop (fruit growers tour that starts in Hood River Oregon).  Sprout got between 40 and 50 MPG on that trip, no fill-ups needed.  I was the only one their with a Soy Bean Oil powered car.  There were 10 of us for most of the trip, some had other responsibilities. Whatever. All in all it was a great trip and I got to meet others who have the same strange love for all things round and zippy.
